A Brief Biography

Dr. Eckard Paul Imhof was born in Vienna, Austria in the 1930s. After completing his law
education in both Austria and the United States, he served as Austrian Trade Delegate
in Beirut and Los Angeles. It was in California in the 1960s that he met Cynthia, married
and raised his family. In the 1970s he left the Austrian Government to pursue a career
as a free-lance news correspondent for German-speaking publications, reporting on
the business aspects of the arts and travel. After his divorce in the 1990s, he eventually
returned to the city of his birth, Vienna, where he now resides.
